ADEPTICON Gaming Convention
AdeptiCon has grown consistently over the past nineteen years, from the humble 110-person event in 2003, to the amazing 6,500 attendees AdeptiCon hosted in 2019. Over the years, AdeptiCon has been held at five different venues. It has expanded from a handful of events to well over 650 tournaments, event games, and hobby seminars covering all aspects of the miniature war gaming hobby. This year the gaming convention will be held near Chicago, IL.

GAME VARIETY
AdeptiCon hosts over 650 events – including board games, hobby seminars, miniature games, role-playing games, team trivia, and social gatherings.
EXHIBITOR HALL
Over 115 exhibitors attend AdeptiCon every year to showcase their new products, run demos and interact with the community. Exhibitor Hall hours are 10 AM – 6 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 10 AM – 3 PM on Sunday.
What to Expect This Year
Firelock Games will be in attendance. TimberAndSail.com and BloodAndPigment.com are teaming up with Firelock Games and an awesome team of Quartermasters to run a full complement of miniature wargames for both the Oak & Iron and Blood & Plunder game system. We’ve put together a list of the games being run at the event below.
NOTE: Please note that all historical miniature games are at the secondary location at the (Hyatt Regency Hotel, 1800 E Golf Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60173), NOT the main convention center with the vendor hall. Free shuttles are available and run every 15 minutes or so. ALL EVENTS ARE NOW IN THE MAIN CONVENTION CENTER IN THE SCHAUMBURG BALLROOM!

Official FIRELOCK GAMES Oak & Iron Tournament. 75pts in any faction. Ships of the Line ARE ALLOWED. Swiss format. 3 rounds. Prizes awarded. Help speed up the event start time by submitting and validating your force at https://timberandsail.com/events. Please review the tournament packet with the full rules for the event.
Some experience is REQUIRED. Limited loaner forces are available. REQUEST a loaner BEFORE the convention to guarantee your force.
“Wager’s Action”
SATURDAY, MARCH 23, 2024 AT 9am – 11:30am
An Oak & Iron historical narrative game. On 8 June, 1708, during the War of Spanish Succession, a squadron of British ships under Charles Wager encounters the Spanish treasure fleet. Join the battle as the bold, but outnumbered English ships of the line attempt to capture the San José and San Joaquín treasure galleons.
Walk-ups are welcome, but some experience is required (demos are available daily). ALL forces and minis are provided.
